Sapphire multi-bore tubes are precision-machined tubular components made from synthetic single-crystal sapphire. Unlike conventional single-hole sapphire tubes, multi-bore designs integrate two, four or multiple independent channels within one compact cylindrical body.
These structures are suitable for applications requiring multiple isolated channels, compact dimensions, high wear resistance, electrical insulation, optical transparency or operation under elevated temperatures and harsh environments.
We provide customized sapphire multi-hole tubes according to customer drawings, including bore diameter, outer diameter, hole quantity, hole arrangement, tube length, dimensional tolerance and surface finish.
Available configurations include:
The bore layout can be designed according to the customer's assembly, fluid, optical fiber, sensor or electrode requirements.

Sapphire has excellent hardness and abrasion resistance, making sapphire multi-hole tubes suitable for components exposed to repeated friction, sliding, wire movement or long-term mechanical wear.
Compared with conventional glass or polymer tubing, sapphire provides much better dimensional stability in demanding working environments.
Sapphire maintains good structural stability at elevated temperatures and can be used in applications where ordinary glass, plastic or polymer tubes may soften, deform or degrade.
As an electrically insulating ceramic crystal, sapphire is suitable for isolating wires, electrodes, sensors or other conductive components within compact assemblies.
Sapphire offers optical transmission over a broad spectral range, making it suitable for optical, sensing and laser-related applications where a transparent structural material is required.
Sapphire provides good resistance to many chemicals and harsh environments, making it useful for analytical, semiconductor and industrial systems.
Producing several small bores inside a sapphire tube requires precise control of:
For small-diameter sapphire tubing, the relationship between outer diameter, bore diameter and remaining wall thickness is especially important.
Our engineering team can review customer drawings before production and evaluate whether the requested multi-bore geometry is suitable for machining.
Multi-bore sapphire tubes can be manufactured according to different layouts.
Two parallel channels are integrated into one sapphire tube.
